Food was amazing, service was excellent. Was extremely grateful that we were surprised with a small desert for our anniversary. Both my girlfriend and I thought the food was the nicest we’ve had, while expensive it was definitely worth it and a great aesthetic and atmosphere to the restaurant

A lovely meal overlooking the river and Ludlow. Great quality cooking and service. We use the Charlton Arms for our ‘special’ meals out for birthdays and anniversaries and has never failed to disappoint. Rooms look good too but as we live locally we haven’t stayed. A great place to base yourself if you want to explore Ludlow, Shropshire and Welsh borders.

This was my second visit to this chain, both times the food and service has been excellent. The chicken is so tender. The Bristol restaurant seemed to have a livelier atmosphere than Bath. Loved them both, will definitely revisit.
