I can’t fault the food here or the service. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but you do pay for what you get. Lovely place to dine & catch up with friends.

After a long time of trying to book a table to coincide with visiting family, we finally got one and it was worth the wait! My partner and I shared the lunch platter including the half of lobster and my mum had the seafood curry. The platter was incredible and mum loved the curry too. The staff were super friendly, and the service was quick! We'll definitely be coming back if we can get another table!

Absolutely perfect! I asked for a window seat for two and we had the best table in the house with stunning views of the river.. Delightful friendly waitress sharing her preferences.

We had a really lovely experience at Janet's. The food was outstanding! The presentation was beautiful and so fresh and tasty is an understatement. Excellent staff, friendly, professional and approachable. I would highly recommend a visit to Janet's. We can't wait to go back :)

We booked for five as a celebration. We know the Daffodil and the owner Alex quite well, living nearby and being fairly regular. Food and service impeccable as always, and Alex went over and above to look after us and our guests. Always a pleasure here, especially for special occasions. Food was superb as always.m

We really enjoyed our experience at the Pig on the Hill. Staff were really lovely and very attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. For the homity pie, it was really good but the only thing I would say is that for the price, it would be nice to have had a vegetable side with it. I paid £5 for a side of mash potato...it was lovely though. Cocktails were £10-12 each and were a little average which was a bit disappointing for the price. Overall it was a lovely experience, we really enjoyed the food and evening. Definitely recommend
