Despite unfortunately being late to our booking, the staff were really lovely and accommodating. They still gave us our full time and didn’t rush us at all. The food and service were fantastic, especially Charlie who looked after us. Will definitely be coming here again! ❤️

Three old friends were visiting Cambridge and it was up to me to find somewhere good to eat. My choice of the Anchor proved universally popular and I would not hesitate to recommend it to all and sundry. Great food and atmosphere and reasonable prices. Top marks.

We are regular diners at The Poet's House and always enjoy the occasion. As usual, the food and service was good but for some reason Sunday lunchtime was very quiet in the restaurant (although there were quite a few people having afternoon tea outside, as it was an unusually warm day for the end of September). We look forward to going again for our family Christmas lunch.
