Excellent lunch. Scotch egg delicate and very tasty. My wife’s cauliflower soup was delicious, and they brought out gluten free bread. Very attentive and friendly staff. Nice old world ambience. Fives stars!

We always enjoy visiting The Plough. The atmosphere is always buzzy and friendly. The food is great, especially since the new chef has been introducing’Specials’ each week, over and above the already great standard menu. We are always impressed with the service at The Plough. It is obvious that all the staff are well trained in offering efficient, attentive, friendly service. Last night, (25 Sept), was extremely busy, so special mentions for both Ed and Johnnie who were coping extremely well with the level of customers whilst being so cheerful and friendly. Thanks both!

We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere with large tv s for football and dj playing decks. Food is served like a takeaway so portions not huge and served in a box which suited us as we were out after. Would recommend

Wow that’s the best meal I’ve had out in ages. The food was DELICIOUS! Generous portions, so tasty and the waitresses were very attentive. Unfortunately I don’t live in Gloucester, if I did I’d be a regular!
