Insane appetizers. Get the green beans and the mochi hushpuppies. Dumplings were amazing as well. Got the cashew chicken and tofu, out of this world. Very easy also for a Vegetarian to go as one of my friends could eat most of the menu.

Why hadn’t we been here sooner!?! This was our first time dining at Bliss and it was fantastic. Starting off with the restaurant itself; it is beautiful and quaint. I loved walking through the server line on way to restroom. Hearing servers and cooks state “guest behind!” put you right into the action of a gourmet kitchen. We were seated in middle row of main dining area, and I did find tables to be a bit close to each other, servers having to walk around to main entrance to get from one side of table to other, but that did not affect the experience. It brought me joy to see several diners recognized as regulars by restaurant staff. For the meal, we started with the appetizer special. A burrata with thinly sliced heirloom red and gold tomatoes served in a garlic oil with a balsamic glaze accompanied by toasted sliced ciabatta bread. It was outstanding. We moved on to the wedge salad which was large enough to share. Chef served it split on two plates for us. While the dressing was very tasty, we did find it a bit drenched and overpowering, particularly with it being blue cheese. For main course we had the short ribs and the roasted half chicken. Short rib was very flavorful and moist. Perfectly seasoned and not overly salted. Random mention, the snap peas were incredible. Now while I loved the short rib, holy cow, the chicken! The chicken was by far better than any chicken I’ve ever had. Never expected that! Juicy, perfect, so much flavor. Overall, the experience was wonderful. We are already thinking about our next visit to Bliss!

The Hayden is one of our go-to restaurants. The food and drinks are always excellent, but the prices are lower than you would expect, which makes them even better. Our favorites include the barbacoa stroganoff and the fish and chips, but we have never had a bad meal there. The service is friendly and competent. I promise you will love it too.

First time dining, came because of their3 year Michelin recognized. We ordered what came recommended from other reviews and were NOT disappointed. Deviled eggs, snapper and pressure cooked fried chicken were all amazing. Laurence provided great service and very knowledgable, has been there for years. Southerleigh is now one of our top dining choices.
