We have been there separately in the past and we were looking forward to a lovely evening and exceptional food that Chef Tim G and his team are known for. They did not disappoint! We were sat a table for two and the 4 top next us were having a lively conversation to the point that it was distracting for me. So, in an effort to create the evening we wanted, we asked the bartender if we could move to the bar for the evening. She was very accommodating and no issue was created where embarrassment would have impacted a lot of people. Thank you for that. The cocktails were amazing! The staff- very knowledgeable and we ended up having the bar to ourselves! We had the Salmon Wellington with spot on wine pairing from the recently dropped fall menu. DE-LISH!!! Love. This. Place. The chicken was seasoned well, and was a great accent to the salad. I had the Grilled Filet Mignon. My steak was an excellent quality steak and was cooked to perfection. The butter provided an excellent taste to the filet. The mashed potatoes and greens were also an excellent side to the filet. After dinner we shared an Apple Crostata for desert. Meal service was perfect. We never felt rushed nor did we feel ignored. I had the iconic Tomato Pie with Succotash. If you know, you know! My husband had the meatloaf with collard greens. He absolutely loved it. Cody recommended the bourbon bread pudding.. Absolute perfection of flavors including plump golden raisins and the caramel sauce.
