Fantastic food and staff were lovely and a really nice place to eat in and extremely generous portions! First time I’ve had to take a bag with me anywhere! Got a few wrong drink orders but everyone makes mistakes I guess! I’ll 100% be back!!

The service was perfect, the food was stunning, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We went for an early dinner on Wednesday. We got the soda bread & butter to start. For mains, I got the sausage & mash and my partner got fish & chips. We then shared a chocolate mousse for dessert. The food was 10/10, but that chocolate mousse is probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend.

A few people had recommended The Thorn Inn so decided to have a ride out for a change. Unbelievable food, the roast was immense! The 2 lady's who were serving us couldn't do enough to help! Lovely pub inside with a nice atmosphere Highly recommend!

Excellent Sunday Dinner at The Queens Head. Plenty of food, extra roasties / yorkshires and great service. This was our 2nd visit, as the 1st was so good and we weren’t disappointed.

Lovely spot and great service. I stopped in on a day off after a business trip and as I was alone they placed me in a lovely nook where I could enjoy and people watch.

We all really enjoyed our meals. There were 4 of us and we all had roasts 3 for the chicken and one for lamb. One of us did think she had a potato which was a little hard, but everyone else said everything was really nice. I had the roasts and mine were all very nice and well cooked. They ran out of apple crumble but they apologised as they remembered from last November that it was my favourite. I was pleased that they remembered me. I had sticky toffee pudding instead with custard which was lovely. There was another in the group who had sticky toffee pudding and said she enjoyed it. The other two in the party had the belgian waffles, again they were nicely served and presented. Overall all 4 of us enjoyed our meal and said we would go back again.
