80 Thoreau is easily my favorite restaurant in the area. It never disappoints! Everything is consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and delicate, with so much attention to detail. The cocktails are just as impressive—beautifully presented and perfectly crafted. Always a wonderful experience, and a place I’m happy to come back to again and again.

Il Capriccio was simply incredible. I had three friend in from out of town and decided on Il Capriccio as dinner for our first night so that we could catch up. Everyone loved everything about Il Capriccio. The food is amazing and the drinks top notch. Il Capriccio is my special restaurant in Waltham that I go to when I want to celebrate or simply want to enjoy a wonderful evening on my own.

As always, Giulia did not disappoint. They were generous with reservation table changes. The food was excellent. I found the semolina cakes with truffles terrific. My husband really enjoyed the white bean with focaccia. We both loved the fall pasta with butternut squash, corn, and more. The star of the show was dessert - the chocolate tort with hazelnut and banana gelato. Outstanding.

This was our first time at Puritan and Co., and we had a great experience with the seasonal tasting menu and wine pairing. All five courses were delicious, and we enjoyed learning about the locally sourced ingredients - shout out to the farm in Groton! Our first course, the tomato salad with lemon mascarpone and pickled strawberries, was divine; the gnocchi, scallops, duck confit and dessert were equally tasty. Our server was very nice, and the drinks and food came with good timing. We loved the value of the tasting menu and will certainly return in the future to see how the menu evolves as the seasons change.
