Best Restaurants for Foodies in Downtown Grand

We celebrated our friend’s 50th birthday and had a wonderful experience! Our server was amazing, and the food was beautifully presented. The dumplings melted in our mouths, and both the pad Thai and filet mignon were delicious. Such a memorable evening!

It was an unbelievable experience. This was also my Susan’s birthday. Which made it even more special. The multiple courses were incredibly tasty. Each had its own unique and flavorful touch. The wine pairing were on point. We also had the pleasure of visiting with Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau which made the whole experience surreal in a great way. The service was enable and engaging. We will plan on joining for any additional events at Honey Salt. Well worth it. Nicely done. Top Marks all around!!!!!

I had heard good things about this restaurant, but for some reason I was under the impression that it was on the strip. As a local, I prefer neighborhood dining. The entrance was a bit puzzling, as we entered through a back door based on the way the parking in the area is designed, but they had the door clearly labeled that it was an entrance. We were greeted by someone who ended up being our server when we passed the bar to head to the hostess. We were greeted by the hostess and another employee (manager?) at the hostess station and promptly seated. They have a very welcoming staff. The food was amazing. They course it out for you. We decided to start with 4 items, as I had plans for dessert, but being concerned about my husband, I added an extra dish near the end which ultimately lead to me waddling to the car with an overly full stomach. We tried..... -the crispy brussels -the beef carpaccio -the kale salad -the spinach mafaldine -the Mediterranean dorade (fish) -the pistachio tiramisu Everything was absolutely amazing. We will most definitely be returning some time soon!
