Absolutely incredible! The staff took such great care of us, and the food was delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. We did mixtures of some appetizers and smaller plates and got the crispy pork belly which was fantastic! We could look into the kitchen and see the whole experience and I just made the cooking to table experience that much more fun. place was so romantic and very intimate, highly Recommend!

We were at Monkeypod during Happy Hour. The drinks are discounted slightly. We really liked the Omakase IPA. We had several appetizers and a pizza. Those had nice discounts. Our server Nicole was very friendly and attentive. We were seated on the second floor along the railing, far enough from the live music to have a good conversation. Definitely a place to return to.

Amazing food. We had the crab cakes and salad with pomegranate dressing as shared starters and then the pork chop marinated overnight along with the black cod in miso as mains for each of us. Absolutely outstanding dishes. We’ve been to Basalt before two years ago but the new chef is on another level. Loved our experience. Will be back again before going home!!!

    It's my second time eating here and I was even MORE impressed this time! When you walk in, you're confused because it looks like a food court. But Basalt has carved out it's own space and once you're seated, it's just like any restaurant. No matter about the entrance...THE FOOD!!!! There were four of us and we each had something different for dinner. We all gave 5 stars for presentation, portion and flavor. I had an appetizer of Peppered Shrimp (SO ONO!) Miso Black Cod was my dinner. It was to die for!! My friend had the watermelon salad with the crab cakes and both were excellent. I'm positive that you cannot have a bad meal at this restaurant. Our server (Kian) was very energetic, personable, and helpful! I suggest you try Basalt at least once! I think you'll be very happy!
