We always enjoy our time at Tono! Both the food and service are fantastic. Every dish we try is crafted with meticulous culinary design and bursting with bold flavours and quality ingredients. We can highly recommend both the chicken and short rib mains, they are incredible. As for apps, try the spicy tuna or crab tacos, wagyu robata or our favourite…the Jumbo prawn dynamite. The only caution I would provide is that the noise levels (especially during the weekends) are fairly high….so, if you prefer a more intimate and less boisterous venue, I would recommend dining here on a weekday evening. Either way…you will definitely enjoy your time here!

We had lunch at KŌST yesterday and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was thoroughly enjoyed. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and extremely accommodating. It was quite breezy on the patio, and without us feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone, the team closed the patio enclosure to make us more comfortable and then moved us to a table that was much better suited for us. That level of attention and hospitality made a real difference and allowed us to relax and enjoy our lunch. The rooftop setting and views are already impressive, but it was the combination of great food and genuinely excellent service that made the experience memorable. A wonderful lunch at KŌST. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

One Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is one of my favorite Yorkdale spots. The summer patio is beautiful, right on the corner with tall trees wrapped in lights. It’s romantic and feels very Yorkville. I used to work nearby, so coming back now feels a little nostalgic. My partner and I had a reservation there last Sunday after done with our brunch at Old Mill restaurant and our evening date at One Restaurant last Sunday was a great experience over some cocktails and Old fashion and the patio was fully booked. This Sunday my best friend and I had a beautiful thoughtful evening over coffee and delicious pastry. It wasn’t too crowded, but still a nice vibe. We were there for coffee and dessert. I had an unsweetened soy latte and my friend had the same coffee drink with honey on the side. Our server Shantal was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and she gave great recommendations. She steered us towards the “Yuzu pistachio tart”with pistachio ice cream, and it was fantastic. Crisp yet creamy, balanced, and not too heavy. I tried the “Boston cream donuts” with dark chocolate glaze and honeycomb. Not your typical donut rich pastry cream, not overly sweet, and a really nice caramelized touch of honeycomb. Three were too much for me, so definitely shareable. We also ordered sparkling water, and I have to mention that I’m absolutely obsessed with the specific one they serve; Vellamo from Finland. It has such a clean, crisp, refreshing taste with a beautiful subtle minerality. It’s a small detail, but definitely one of the things I always enjoy when I visit ONE. What made it special though was Shantal’s service. She checked in often without hovering, took time to chat when it was quieter, even we had a great conversation over EDM and Rock music genres, and made us feel genuinely cared for. It was my friend’s first time, and she loved it. I’ve heard good things about their all day breakfast too, so that that’ll probably be next on my list. Thank you all BOH ✨ & FOH ✨
