Just delightful for a noontime Sunday tea. Soaring ceiling with great decor above. Northern exposure, so lots of light but all indirect. Tea was thoughtfully served and delicious. Not the expected - but still approachable in terms of choices. Several items were real standouts: The steak tartare bite on a crispy chip was like a tiny, very rare roast beef sandwich with mustard. The chocolate choux pastry. The beet on toast with manchego cheese. The lemon cake bites. Tea served in lovely combo glass/ceramic pots. Highly recommended and a terrific value.

Staff and Service were outstanding. For some reason Opentable had reservations available before the restaurant even opened. The waitstaff and kitchen did not hesitate to accommodate us.

Having lunch or dinner at the W Living Room restaurant at the W Hotel in Toronto was a relaxing and easy going experience. I went there for a business luncheon and really enjoyed it. Easy to get to because it's very close to Yonge and Bloor, comfortable and a welcoming ambience, and the food is tasty. I enjoyed the personalized service they provide. It's not too busy and not empty either. You'll like it especially if you have time for longer conversation.
