We had a lovely experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the service was friendly, attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. Great place for a lunch catch-up - a few other tables of diners but noise levels of chatter not overpowering compared to some venues where conversations from other tables spill over and make it hard to hear yourself think! Lovely staff who didn’t mind waiting for us to take our time to select our drinks and meals. Interesting menu selection - makes a return visit very appealing.

This is the best pub in Granchester! Very friendly, relaxed, helpful service and warm, welcoming hospitality. We enjoyed the steak and chips and the chicken skewers, padron peppers and haloumi from the grill. Huge garden next to the grill with lots of tables and it wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday in October. Excellent lunch out!
