This was our first time eating at Vestal. We started out by sharing the grilled wedge salad. It had the perfect amount of char from the grill and the bacon and candied pecans paired nicely with the miso gorgonzola dressing. We both had the whole fish, which turned out to be branzino. It was cooked beautifully and topped with green olives and greens. The dashi soy sauce brought everything together. I especially liked adding the jasmine rice into the sauce. The Mary Taylor Bordeaux blanc wine paired well with the fish. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée. Nice dessert that wasn’t overly sweet.
The service was great. We will definitely be back.
