Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Dovercourt Village

Sumptuous, sexy food on the back patio as we snagged a last opening table on a packed evening. Fast, friendly service. Gurgling laughter. OOOH, AHHH, HMMMM... as food hits tongue. Tartare, tomato salad, bruschetta, lemon mint ravioli. The ghost of the Black Hoof is smiling.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. We did the tasting menu and not a single course disappointed. While the food was insanely delicious and something I've never experienced - it was the service that truly hit it out of the park.

I am mostly impressed by the service, our waitress was very helpful, friendly and patient. Food is excellent overall but not impressive so there's definitely room for improvement, maybe I am just too picky as it takes a lot to wow me. Atmosphere is good as well but can get pretty loud as the restaurant fills up. Pricing is decent considering the location so I think you get what you paid for. The washrooms feels a bit tight (which is common in downtown I guess) but is acceptable and you can tell they tried their best to make it as comfortable for the guests as possible. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there with my girl friend for her birthday celebration. Appreciate the experience and will definitely come back in future. :)
