Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere. Very accommodating of our requests to slightly change breakfast menu, which was so tasty. Great quality ingredients. Beautiful setting. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would totally recommend .

Interesting decor in beautiful old building, warmly greeted. We sat in the front section of the restaurant closes to the High Street. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We ate from the set lunch menu with a choice of 3 starters, mains and 2 desserts, a beef, fish and veggie option. 3 chose fish cake, delish followed by substantial pollock rosti chips and peas, very tasty and 1 burger with all the trimmings. To finish Ice creams and figs yummy. All excellent as always Thank you

Thought we'd try Sunday Roast as love the weekday experience. Lovely food, would have liked slightly larger portions for the cost of main, but delicious. Desert was stunning, and wines always a bespoke choice - the Georgian red was very good pairing with the beef.

We had the most amazing dining experience. The tasting menu was delicious and the staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. This is by far the best restaurant around. We will return again and again and can’t wait for the next seasonal menu to try. Well done to the team. 👏👏👏
