Celebrated a friend’s surprise birthday dinner. Staff went above and beyond. From the reception to the dinner table, staff were attentive, friendly, efficient and everything was done with ease. All our requests were granted as well. High quality food and really good value for money. Not very long wait time for food despite the fact that it was a busy night. The place was faultless, the ambience, the service, choice of interiors and also the seats were comfortable. Great selection of food on the menu and drinks too. The restaurant was easy to find given that it is in the city centre. Parking was not a problem, there are plenty of options around the city centre with a 5 minute walk to the venue. Overall, a memorable night and a lovely dining experience. Thank you to all the staff!! You are amazing

Service very helpful and attentive. Food excellent and thoughtfully paced. The Sunday night was quiet but that suited us. Anniversary, mentioned in reservation, was marked with a petal strewn table. Surrounded by a splendid display of art. Pricy but very enjoyable.

We had dinner at Kobe Steakhouse Cambridge yesterday evening and, overall, we had a lovely experience. The food was genuinely exceptional — the sirloin and ribeye were both cooked perfectly, and the asparagus and dessert were excellent too. The quality of the food was outstanding, and we would definitely return. There were just a few small things that could have made the experience even better. The music was quite loud for the atmosphere we were hoping for. We politely asked if it could be turned down, and our waitress kindly said she would try, but unfortunately it didn’t seem to change, which made relaxed conversation a little difficult. We also ordered two ciders and specifically asked for glasses with ice so we could pour the bottled cider ourselves. Instead, they arrived already poured into glasses and without ice. Not a major issue, but slightly confusing given what we had requested. The main disappointment was towards the end of the evening. We had only just finished our dessert when the bill was brought over, and we were charged without being asked if we were ready to pay. As the restaurant was still quite busy and it wasn’t particularly late, it unfortunately gave us the impression that we were being encouraged to leave. We completely appreciate this may not have been the intention, but it did affect the final few minutes of what had otherwise been an excellent evening. Overall, though, we absolutely loved the food and were very impressed with the restaurant. These are intended as constructive comments because, with food of this quality, we feel the service and attention to detail should ideally match it from beginning to end. Our compliments to the kitchen team — the food really was fantastic. We would happily come back and hope to enjoy an equally great experience next time, with just a little more attention to the service details.
