We had to wait a little bit, even though we had a reservation and there were other people walking in and getting sat, but I'm convinced we were waiting for the perfect server. I wish I could remember her name, she was incredible. She celebrated with us, gave excellent recommendations, was kind and speedy, and just made sure our experience was great. She modified a dish to make sure the meat was on the side for my vegetarian friend, and had excellent recommendations. The kitchen gets kudos, too. The food? Just delicious! Unique combos, burrata with cantaloupe and capicola? Chef's kiss!! Our lemon dessert was the perfect ending and cleansed our pallets perfectly. And at the end the bill was about half what I was expecting. Excellent value for the quantity and quality of food we received. Well done, Cafe Navarre! You've got a new ambassador!

Our food was excellent! We were there for a Thursday special where you get an appetizer, main entrée, and dessert included in one special price. This is the fourth time I've eaten at Copper Rock and I have never been disappointed. Our waiter George was fantastic. He was attentive, very friendly and helpful with our food and wine selections. A+ all the way.

A quiet mid-week visit tonight to Sonny D’s at the lake was a good choice not just for the food but also the service. The chopped salad and chicken parmigiana were excellent and in portions that guaranteed we wouldn’t leave hungry. But the service made the evening — our server was delightful and she helped steer us through beverage and good choices that were hits. Even the back waiter who brought us our meals was knowledgeable, friendly and at a young age clearly understood the elements of good guest service. Kudos to management for taking care of both sides of the guest experience.
