Best Historic Restaurants in Wilshire Estates / Savannah Mall

Had an outstanding meal at River House this past weekend. We wanted a traditional Savannah experience that was nice but not too fancy and we nailed it picking this place. Lots of classic southern dishes along with fresh seafood and one of the most amazing desserts I’ve had this year in the chocolate hazelnut bread pudding. Service was great and the restaurant was not noisy despite being mostly full. Definitely recommend.

Vic’s is a beautiful restaurant. We were seated promptly at a comfortable table and our waitress Mary was a Dream. She was sweet, professional and very efficient. We fist got biscuits and butter, and they were plentiful, hot and delicious. Three of us ordered the short ribs and they were melt in your mouth like butter. They were delicious. The potatoes and carrots were good too, but the standout were the ribs and the gravy they were in. Mary brought me a piece of cake for my birthday and a wonderful surprise of a Vic’s cookbook. The cake tasted like the inside of a Godiva chocolate. And in all my restaurant travels, I’ve never been given anything, let alone a wonderful hardcover cookbook as a restaurant gift. This blew me away. We also were able to compliment our server mary, when Sara, the manager came by. She too was so sweet and we had the best experience at Vic’s due to the wonderful food and the hospitality of mary and Sara. What a wonderful experience.

We had the most wonderful experience here celebrating my birthday! 🥰🎂✨ From the moment we walked in, everything was amazing. The service was exceptional, as always, and everyone made us feel so welcomed and special. But the best part was hearing my son say that it was “the best day of his life” because he had the juiciest, most delicious steak he has ever had! 🥩❤️ Seeing how happy and excited he was made my birthday even more special. Thank you, Repeal 33, for making my birthday such a beautiful and memorable experience. The food, the service, the atmosphere—everything was absolutely fantastic! Wow! This was an unexpected treat to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The filet mignon was exceptional ….. the best I’ve ever had and the shrimp was just perfectly fresh and cooked to perfection This is the top pick for a restaurant with a beautiful experience and live piano playing in the background.
