My wife and I had an excellent a la carte meal here yesterday evening. The food was delicious - special mention for the calamari , lasagne , roasted cod and tiramisu. The service was efficient and friendly. We will return.

Booked a table the day before we visited with our elderly Aunty. The pub was really busy due to several groups of walkers who had booked lunch breaks but despite being full the service was fabulous the food excellent and the atmosphere busy and lovely especially with the Autumn decorations and real log fire. All the staff and management made us really welcome and are a credit to this wonderful old English pub, once again well done and we have booked more meals already when family visit later this month.
