Best Historic Restaurants in Port Royal

We eat here often because it’s always spot on. But tonight’s dinner was even more delicious. I had the special - seared grouper with grilled shrimp atop sautéed spinach and mushroom risotto. Every bite was perfect!! One of the best meals I’ve had.

Delicious southern cooking. The fried green tomatoes may be my all-time favorite.

Dinner here was excellent. We were promptly seated and our waitress was friendly and efficient. We shared the mussels which were tender and the sauce was delicious. Then I had the market catch salmon with pimiento cheese grits and collards. My husband had the swordfish, all excellent. Would highly recommend this place.

Vic’s is a beautiful restaurant. We were seated promptly at a comfortable table and our waitress Mary was a Dream. She was sweet, professional and very efficient. We fist got biscuits and butter, and they were plentiful, hot and delicious. Three of us ordered the short ribs and they were melt in your mouth like butter. They were delicious. The potatoes and carrots were good too, but the standout were the ribs and the gravy they were in. Mary brought me a piece of cake for my birthday and a wonderful surprise of a Vic’s cookbook. The cake tasted like the inside of a Godiva chocolate. And in all my restaurant travels, I’ve never been given anything, let alone a wonderful hardcover cookbook as a restaurant gift. This blew me away. We also were able to compliment our server mary, when Sara, the manager came by. She too was so sweet and we had the best experience at Vic’s due to the wonderful food and the hospitality of mary and Sara. What a wonderful experience.
