Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Washington Township

We had some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at Melting Pot last night. I had made reservations well in advance for a party of 9 for my daughter’s birthday. When we arrived, they were extremely busy, lots of people standing in the waiting area plus our party of 9. When we went to get seated, it was clear the available table was not big enough to seat 9 of us. Instead of just forcing it or making us wait, our hostess, Madison, (without us asking) went and got the General Manager, Chandler. Our party was 7 (13 yr old) girls and my husband and I. Chandler asked if we’d be comfortable sitting at the bar and leave the girls at the table, assuring us they’d be taken care of. We agreed. The girls waitress, Karen, took great care of them, made ordering seamless, and the other wait staff chipped in and showed the girls the time of their life. They had so much fun. Meanwhile, Chandler gave my husband and me VIP service at the bar, timed our food so it came out the same as the girls, had the wait staff check in with us to let us know how the girls were doing, and let me walk back and forth to check in on them. Madison, the hostess, even came back to apologize about the seating issue-she didn’t have to do that but was so thoughtful. What could have been a disaster turned into the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Even though they were crazy busy, the service never faltered. And everyone was so kind and seemed so happy to help-which to me says a lot about how well that place is managed. Chandler, Karen, Madison and the rest of the Melting Pot staff-thank you so much for treating us to a wonderful night, giving my daughter one of the best birthday’s she’s ever had and giving the girls an experience they’ll never forget! I really can’t emphasize enough how well taken care of we felt.

Diavola is consistently good every time we dine there. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer followed by the pera salad which I loved and then the del papa pizza. We added spicy pomadoro sauce. Yum!!

As always, the service and food were fantastic. Thanks to our server, Olivia, for exceptional service.

We had a wonderful experience for my mom's birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the servers were exceptional. I also appreciate the offer to move to a section that was separated from the open seating area - allowing my parents to hear and participate in the conversations around the table. We are excited to be back for my dad's birthday in October. Thank you!
