My son brought me to Sage & Salt to celebrate a belated birthday dinner. This was one of the very best meals l have eaten since moving to Winston Salem from the Washington, DC area 20 years ago. One of the other very best dinners is when my son and daughter brought me to Sage and Salt last year for my birthday dinner. We started with cocktails and 2 appetizers: Steak Tartare and Mussels. Both were delicious and a good start to an outstanding dinner. My son ordered the Rainbow Trout and l ordered the Filet. Sometimes when we order medium rare steak it comes over cooked. This Filet was perfect and so tasty. His Rainbow Trout was also great. We were treated to a complementary ‘to die for’ piece of decadent chocolate cake to share in celebration of my birthday. I highly recommend Sage & Salt for special occasions or when you want delicious food.

Everything was excellent. The saff was great. Flexibility with allergies, making a few substitutions, etc. I would like a few more menu choices and/or change it up a bit from time to time. A few more NA beers would be nice. Good value - quality and quantity. Love this place. Will go back again and again.

Tuscani was slammed, but all of their staff was still prompt and courteous. The food was good. The atmosphere is very lively. Love that there are so many places within walking distance.

A+ experience! My girlfriend and I were sat immediately upon our reservation time. Our server came up to us once we got settled in and had the best attitude. Drinks and food came out in great time with hardly any wait. The food was fantastic, steak was prepared perfect and my girlfriend’s fish was cooked to her liking. Price was a tad high but for the overall experience we will come back!

Our group of 6 had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, our waitress was excellent- very personable, helpful with our questions and timely with our food and drink. We even met the chef, who did an excellent job in preparing our food with impeccable presentation!

The red drum was the best I've had since I was on the Outer Banks. The dolly beans were inspired and I will definitely order again. The creme brulee is a tie with the best I've ever had. We order it every time. Service is always top notch.
