Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. As owners of R Wine Bar, Riccardo and Marybeth are passionate about one thing: people. They believe that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.     We had our first date at Crave 3 years ago and it’s now tradition to go on our anniversary. Every time the food has been delicious and filling and the staff is very welcoming. We just went for our 3rd anniversary, today. I had the Salmon Poke Bowl and my boyfriend had the baked Mac and cheese with crispy chicken. We both had leftovers! We will be going for years to come.
