The Texas Club began as a 1960s residence before actor Dale Robertson (Tales of Wells Fargo) bought it in the early 1970s. He named it "The Texas Club" as a private hangout for his horse-racing friends, charging a $1 membership fee.In 1974, local Wayne Wood purchased the site, retaining the name and establishing it as a public steakhouse. This era created legends, including stories of marathon, high-stakes private poker games—one rumored to have a $25,000 pot and a gun-toting participant protecting her interest!After changing hands, Linda Kelso bought the business in 1994, transforming it into the beloved fine dining spot Ruidoso knows today. She built upon the legacy before selling it to the current owners in 2005.Through every change, The Texas Club’s commitment has remained firm: to be the best place in town for choice steaks, freshest seafood, and the finest wines, cocktails, and cold beers. We honor our rich, colorful past while providing an unforgettable dining experience.

Casa has a rich history of serving quality food in our comfy hacienda. From our famous green chile strips and margaritas to our traditional enchiladas and sizzling fajitas, we serve you with a friendly face and at-home feel. That may be in part because Casa actually started out as a private residence, built in the 1950s, one of the first homes constructed on Mechem Drive. The property was sold and converted into a restaurant in 1983 and over the years it has been added on to and transformed into its current layout. We are always eager to serve and can accommodate large parties or we can also cater at the venue of your choice. We look forward to seeing you soon.

    This place has the atmosphere/vibe and food to ANY occasion! It doesn’t matter if you want something casual, fine dining, brunch, drinks and appetizers, you name it, Cepa has it, AND THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!! It’s not like anything you’ve ever tried!! Tularosa truly has a hidden gem! Spread the word! This is definitely a place you will want to return to once you’ve tried it! Five stars all the way!! So delicious! Can’t wait to go back!!

    Prudence was our waitress and she was awsome. Food was excellent. There were 12 of us, which is not easy, and it went super smooth. Thanks for an amazing birthday!

    The green chile stacked enchiladas are always the best in town and the deep-fried green chile was amazing! Most amazing was our waitress, Amara. Not sure I'm spelling her name right but she is from Romania. So good and so personable.
