Spanish
Montrose

Casa Córdoba in Montrose brings a Spanish dining experience to Mother’s Day that is built around sharing. The kitchen’s tapas and paella-led menu gives a celebratory table plenty to work through, with standout dishes including braised octopus over potato pavé with smoked paprika aioli, arroz negro paella with mussels, octopus, and calamari, and Moroccan-spiced braised beef short rib with honey and lentils. Jamón Ibérico with grilled baguette and pan-seared lubina with citrus-ginger couscous round out a menu that draws on the full range of Spanish regional cooking. The warm Montrose setting suits a long, unhurried Sunday lunch, and the share-everything format makes this one of the more convivial Mother’s Day options in the Los Angeles area.

Contemporary American
Pasadena

The Raymond 1886 in Pasadena brings Mother’s Day dining into a historic cottage setting that gives the occasion a character most contemporary restaurants can’t match. The kitchen runs both brunch and dinner on the day, with a menu that spans seasonal modern American cooking. Brunch highlights include Grand Marnier-infused French toast, chilaquiles with braised short rib and salsa verde, and smoked salmon eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise. Starters run to Peruvian ceviche with creamy coconut leche de tigre and a seasonal pastry and fruit board, while the dinner end of the menu stretches to trofie al pesto and a 6 oz Australian A9 wagyu filet mignon. The timeless charm of the property makes The Raymond a compelling choice for a Mother’s Day lunch or dinner in the San Gabriel Valley.

Santa Monica

Fia in Santa Monica makes a strong case for the best Mother’s Day brunch in Los Angeles for 2026, anchored by its garden setting and a menu that reflects the coastal California kitchen at its most focused. The multi-course brunch opens with a welcome mimosa or mocktail alongside housemade pastries and seasonal market fruits, before moving to a choice of signature entrée. Highlights include the Maine lobster tartine on buttery grilled brioche with dill and trout roe; Creekstone Farms steak and eggs with horseradish salsa verde; cold-smoked salmon eggs benedict on a housemade English muffin with Calabrian hollandaise; and caviar and eggs with soft-scrambled farm eggs and chèvre. Mother’s Day specials add French toast with preserved cherries and pistachio chantilly, crab enchiladas, and slow-roasted salmon Niçoise. Garden seating and intimate indoor dining rooms are both available.

We loved every minute of our dining experience at Fia. Our waiter was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks and menu. Each dish was unique and delicious. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer, Caesar salad, lemon pasta, broccolini, and the fresh fish special. Martinis were great. The ambiance is so relaxing and feels almost like a magical garden hidden down an alley off of busy Wilshire BLVD. We will definitely return and share our experience with friends who visit Santa Monica.

We’re quasi regulars here. Enjoy breakfast 2-3 times per month. This was no exception for birthday morning breakfast with my wife. Ashley & Maekala were our most excellent servers. Good and service were terrific! Thank you

Steakhouse
Brentwood

Baltaire in Brentwood runs the elevated holiday buffet experience the restaurant is known for, with executive chef Samuel Jung presenting a carving station, a raw seafood and sushi bar with fresh oysters, breakfast favorites, an array of desserts, and the signature gelato cart. The steakhouse setting gives the buffet a solidity that distinguishes it from more diffuse hotel spreads, and the kitchen’s sourcing standards apply to the event as much as they do to everyday service. For a Mother’s Day brunch in the Westside that delivers both range and quality from a kitchen with a clear point of view, book at Baltaire.

We had a wonderful experience. It was my birthday and they were so nice to me and even put a birthday card on the table before I was sat. The decor and ambiance is so beautiful. We got the chilled crab, Greek salad, filet mignon, loaded potato, and sautéed spinach. It was all cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. To top it off they sent me a butterscotch pot de crème as a birthday treat. 10/10 experience here. Will be booking another reservation asap.

We had the duck experience. Everything was superb. The presentation and taste of the duck was perfect. The wine they recommended was excellent and held up to the duck. Wonderful anniversary dinner.

Beverly Hills

Culina at Four Seasons Los Angeles in Beverly Hills stages a Mother’s Day brunch buffet that combines California produce with the kitchen’s Italian sensibility across an expansive spread. The dining experience covers house-made sushi, premium carving and seafood stations, vibrant seasonal salads, made-to-order omelets, housemade waffles, and a show-stopping dessert display by the executive pastry chef. The Four Seasons Beverly Hills setting gives the occasion a level of polish and service that is hard to match, and the buffet format — typically a more casual proposition — is elevated here by the quality of the individual stations. An absolutely exceptional evening at Culina inside the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was outstanding - authentic Italian with fresh, seasonal ingredients and beautiful presentation. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality that Culina is known for. Our server Juan made the night truly special. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm - he had perfect recommendations, impeccable timing, and that true Four Seasons level of hospitality. He made us feel completely taken care of without ever being intrusive. The ambiance is exactly what you want for Beverly Hills - elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and inviting. Perfect for a date night or special occasion. Lively but still intimate enough to have a great conversation. Culina has become one of our favorite spots in LA. We will definitely be back and will be asking for Juan again. Highly recommend!
