With the global tournament bringing international soccer to one of America’s most scenic and culturally distinct host cities, the dining scene is ready to match the moment. Brewery
Downtown

Lowlander Brewing is one of Seattle’s most exciting new venues — a working tank brewery in the heart of historic Pioneer Square where beer is brewed onsite and poured straight from the tanks into the glass, with no shipping, no kegging, and no compromise on freshness. The spacious beer hall seats around 100 guests inside with generous outdoor space for the summer, anchored by a massive 12-foot ultra hi-def TV wall that was built for exactly the kind of occasion the 2026 summer of soccer delivers. Expect a comforting menu of house-made sausages, fries, salads, and brew hall classics, while the name itself pays tribute to the Puget Sound Lowlands and the building’s history as FX McRory’s — a beloved Pioneer Square sports bar for decades. For fans who want the freshest pint in Seattle in one of the city’s most storied neighborhoods, Lowlander is the new essential stop.

We had the best waitress Izzy!! She was so personable, engaging, funny, friendly, sweet and made you feel at home! Our two friends went to celebrate our belated anniversaries together. She was the best and checking in and us and helping us when we ordered cooking our food the wrong way. She was so sweet!! She had such good suggestions that were spot on. The best was the ying and yang for the chocolate dessert. We left trying to figure out when we could come again. It was so worth the 40 minute drive to get there!!

Great service, great food, not too loud, too many screens.

The orange glazed salmon and pork chop were both fabulous. Service was great. We will return.

We sat in the bar for happy hour. It was loud and lively and full. Our server was attentive, professional and nice but she was very busy! One of bar or dining managers-Nathan was walking through ensuring everyone had what they needed and helping the servers. The sun was coming through the windows and blinding us so Nathan moved us to a different table. It was better but the sun was still in my husband’s face. Nathan grabbed a plant from the waiting area and placed it near our booth to block the sun…..creative problem solving at its best. Nathan also fixed a drink, took a new drink order and checked on us several times. At the end of the meal, he also offered complimentary dessert or another drink to make up for the earlier (minor) issues. The bottom line is that Nathan seamlessly filled in gaps in service due to the servers being so busy. He made sure everyone felt important and well taken care of. We will continue to return to Joey where we always know we will be well taken care of.
