We originally considered it a quiet pastoral road stop, since Los Feliz Boulevard was just an unpaved country lane traversed by rabbits and rabbit hunters, in that order.
Everything changed when Walt Disney and his animators, set designers, and crews began trekking out between takes for a bite and a refreshment. So often, in fact, that the Tam was once dubbed “The Studio Commissary.”

With an Israeli executive chef and Egyptian pastry chef you get one of the best mixes of flavors with influences from all over that region. My mouth was watering from anticipation but once the hummus hit the table with fresh baked challah bread the wait was no more. We had the lobster skewers, and green falafel and then a bone marrow and beef ayaeres, we paired that with mother of hen mushrooms and finished with the schwarma plate beef shishlik and lamb kebab. Every dish was perfectly balanced and gave us a taste of the spice traded Middle East. The food quality was incredible, and every piece of sushi tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
