I really enjoyed my pasta and prawn tagliatelle, it was not what I expected at first missing an ingredient but the waiter got this sorted very quickly and it was spot on. The lasagne was very rich and flavoursome according to my mother in law. I have a small appetite and the portion was just enough.very busy restaurant but staff are very swift and service excellent.

Both food and service were excellent in lovely surroundings. Would definitely return.

Exceptional! The food, the service, the whole experience.

We always enjoy visiting The Plough. The atmosphere is always buzzy and friendly. The food is great, especially since the new chef has been introducing’Specials’ each week, over and above the already great standard menu. We are always impressed with the service at The Plough. It is obvious that all the staff are well trained in offering efficient, attentive, friendly service. Last night, (25 Sept), was extremely busy, so special mentions for both Ed and Johnnie who were coping extremely well with the level of customers whilst being so cheerful and friendly. Thanks both!
