Downton Restaurants

We had a lovely anniversary meal at the restaurant. The table wasn’t quite ready on arrival so we had drinks at the bar which was a nice place to sit. It was very busy, lots of groups of ladies having afternoon tea but it quietened down during the time we were there, the atmosphere was really nice. Our meals were delicious, and we were treated to a brownie at the end for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The most important part to us was that we didn’t feel rushed, we had a lovely few hours together and the staff were very attentive but not over the top.

Wonderful breakfast, really tasty. Martin provided excellent front of house service as usual and our waiter (I think his name was Eddy?) was amazing. Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ease of booking, service very good, food was very nice and good value.

Lovely food, great service and fab location. We stayed at The PIG and walked down Mill Lane, 20 mins. Perfect

A great place to spend time and experience the tasty and well presented variety of food.
