The best meal we have ever had at Safari and to top it off the pizza doughballs were amazing

We were shown to excellent elevated table - we were party of 4 but the table could have easily taken more but it was still perfect for 4. The cod special excellent and the sticky toffee pudding the best I’ve ever had. The steak pie was chosen by both husbands and was also delicious - perfect pastry and generous filling. The service was lovely - friendly, helpful and witty from arrival to the time we left and we were served by at least 6 different people. We’d never been before and felt very welcome. Would highly recommend - and will thank my friends who recommended The Cat to me.

Our first time eating here (even though we’re local) and the food was delicious. The flavours were fresh, layered and moreish. We especially liked the prawn coquettes and the fillet of pork. Very tasty indeed! The pear custard with hints of liquorice was interesting and something new. The waiting staff were friendly and knowledgeable and gave a good explanation of how the menu could work. It’s been cleverly designed to be either a collection of plates that are shared or a more traditional style with starters and a main meal. A great meal, interesting favours, very well cooked and presented. Thank you to the whole team for a great evening.
