This is my favorite restuarant in the area. The staff is top notch; while they are nearly always busy, the staff are able to handle the load, work together well and keep all the customers fed and happy. The chef works magic in the soup every week. The different eating areas (dining room, bar, Den or patio) allow you to choose the enviroment you want to enjoy while eating. BUT you need to make a reservation before walking in the door expecting a table especially on weekend evening.

Elixir was excellent. We are from Fort Wayne and go to nice dinners a lot, but this outdid anything so far. The owners were so cool describing this old neat building. The ambiance was excellent. Almost speak easy esque. We had a strawberry salad which was very good. The ribeye I had was the best I’ve ever had. My wife’s salmon was great. Overall loves this place. Will definitely go back!!

You know a place is good when every table is full at 7:45 on a Wednesday night, luckily we had reservations which I highly recommend. My wife and I got a rare night out away from the kids to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff handed us a card signed by everyone congratulating us on our anniversary and the waiter offered us a glass of prosecco. Every member of the staff was professional without being pretentious, friendly without being fake, and smiling like they actually enjoy what they are doing which I honestly believe they do. Everything was prepared perfectly, the steak was a perfect medium-rare, the banana pudding cheesecake was amazing. While I would never call this a "cheap" meal it is very reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive. Go for the staff, stay for the food, and enjoy the ambiance. I wish them many more successful years, thank you!

Anniversary dinner - Robert was fantastic and provided great recommendations. Food and wines were quite delicious!
