- BBarbaraWisconsin •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe visited the Commodore to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. When we checked in, we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary!” At our table was a handwritten note thanking us for celebrating our anniversary. Every server expressed the same. Chris, our waiter went above & beyond with service. Our beautiful evening ended with 2 glasses of champaign & a free dessert. Exceptional experience in beautiful surroundings!More infoThe Commodore - A Bartolotta Restaurant$$$$• American• Hartland•4.7
- RRickSt. Louis •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe could not have had a better experience than we had at Fire last evening celebrating my mother's birthday. From the kinds greeting, to the table, to the absolutely amazing service from John who is an absolute gem of a server and as a person. It is very clear Fire hires the best of the best in the industry. The Carpaccio appetizer was a perfect balance of tenderloin, arugula, pecorino, tomato and horseradish aioli. Perfect was to start the evening, along with the bread service which is a blend of a variety bread tastes and styles. The lobster and shrimp pasta (bucatini) in a sweet tomato sauce was amazing as was the Prime Rib with whipped potatoes and perfect asparagus with horseradish sauce and jus was exquisitely melt in your mouth. Our last entree was the Bone In Pork Ribeye with a Door County Cherry glaze that was out of this world delicious. along with the tastiest roasted sweet potatoes you have ever out in your mouth. As of all of this wasn't enough we opted for dessert(s) yes not one, but two and they were was dreams of dessert are made of, Bourbon Pumpkin creme brulee' and the absolute best bread pudding any of us had ever had. Soft and firm bread pudding with a caramel bourbon sauce, vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle. Undeniably delicious. Fire is everything an upscale steakhouse should be and more. We were all so impressed with the professional yet personable staff with another shout out to John who is just the best! If you haven't been to Fire I cannot recommend it more.More infoFire Seafood & Steakhouse$$$$• Steakhouse• Appleton•4.6

My wife and I enjoy going to this restaurant whenever we are in town. The tables have a wonderful view of the fast moving river. We split the Beef Carpaccio which was very delicious. For our entrée, we split Short Rib Pappardelle which was outstanding accompanied by a bottle of 2021 Shafer TD-9 Cabernet Sauvignon. Wow! Our server Amanda, was super attentive and ensured we had a memorable evening. Highly recommend for a nice night out!More infoFratellos Riverfront Restaurant$$$$• American• Appleton•4.7

Discover Hartford
Hartford is a quintessential Wisconsin city where you can find a number of dining options. Head to a local bar or grill for a laid-back environment and Midwest classics like fish fry, grilled beer brats, and cheese curds. While you're at the bar, choose from a variety of locally brewed beers on tap. If you order a burger, you can opt for beef raised in Wisconsin and top it with a slice of Wisconsin cheddar cheese. If you're looking for international cuisine, stop by an authentic Mexican or Chinese restaurant. For dessert, you can't go wrong with trying some homemade ice cream or a malt shake made with fresh ingredients from a local dairy farm.
