🐟Founded in 1950 as a humble fish market in Cambridge, Legal Sea Foods has become a Boston staple that’s stayed true to its roots with fresh, high-quality ingredients while expanding into a full-fledged restaurant with locations across New England. This time, we went all out and tried a little bit of everything—starting with a fully loaded lobster roll, lobster mac & cheese, and a warm bowl of clam chowder. But the biggest surprise? Their sushi was actually pretty good! Fresh fish, great texture, and well-balanced flavors 🍣🦞 I was honestly surprised to find tasty sushi at Legal Sea Foods. We also checked out their New Legal Experience, which lets you customize your entrée from land or sea with two sides. Instead of more seafood, we switched things up and went for the ribeye, and it was a solid choice. And of course, no trip to Legal is complete without their iconic fish and chips: crispy, golden perfection with thick-cut steak fries and a fresh, tangy slaw. With a great waterfront location and a menu that keeps things fresh, Legal Sea Foods continues to be a solid Boston staple. Growing up, it was a family go-to, and I’m happy to say it still holds up after all these years.
