When we asked to move to another table that we felt would be more appropriate for our group of eight people, they opened up the back portion of the restaurant and located us in the room all by ourselves. It worked out really well and the food was delicious.

I’ve been going to Lee since its original location on King. Lee is by far one of the best Toronto restaurants. The Singapore slaw, and Asian braised beef are the OG dishes that never fail to deliver. Love this place.

Great place to eat on a Saturday night out. A good mix of low key and trendy. Portion size for cost was a mix of amazing value and only ok depending on the dish. The short rib was awesome and great value. The new seabreem dish was expensive for how small it was (although I get fish is expensive). Overall, absolutely will go again and recommend it too.

DaiLo is one of those rare places where the food and the service are both excellent. The menu takes Chinese flavours in a modern, inventive direction, and nearly every dish felt thoughtful and full of flavour. We did the tasting menu, which is the way to go. It gives you a wide run of dishes at a good value. The truffle fried rice with XO sauce was a standout. The Hakka wontons were rich and satisfying, and the fried watermelon with pork floss was the surprise of the night, cool and juicy inside with a crisp coating. Dessert was a fun finish too. The service made the evening. Our server was knowledgeable, made great suggestions, and the whole team was warm, attentive and friendly. The cocktails are also well worth ordering. The room has a stylish retro Hong Kong feel with warm lighting, booths and a lively buzz, so it works for date night or a group. It's best with a few people so you can share and try more of the menu. Very good!

I chose to come to Akira Back for my birthday dinner and I could not have made a better choice. From the moment you arrive to the Bisha Hotel and walk through the doors to Akira Back, you know you are going to have a unique experience. Walking into the restaurant, the decor and setting transform you into an underwater cave. The setting is elegant, sexy, and immersive. The music is high enough to hear and enjoy yet quiet enough to converse over with your party comfortably. Speaking on the food now, anything you order takes you on a true culinary journey between the presentation and the taste itself. This is not a restaurant where you walk in, order an appetizer, and then eventually a large main dish. This is a restaurant where you order multiple small dishes, each one unique to itself, with its own flavors, own presentation, and own story. You get to try multiple things and truly experience many amazing dishes. Some favorites are the waygu tacos, waygu fried rice, tuna/mushroom pizza, and the crispy rice. What truly make this restaurant stand out though, is the hospitality of the staff to their guests. It’s a true gift to have delicious food and service where the staff care about your experience throughout your time with them. Of the staff, I would like to speak on Engin, the bartender. It’s not often that a bar tender impresses you through the dinner. From the moment we walked in, Engin greeted us with a big warm smile and took care of us at the bar. He guided us through the menu, helping us pick the best possible dishes to have through the night while preparing delicious drinks for us simultaneously. Engin’s interaction did not just stop there; he would speak to us and make conversation, laugh, and ask questions making us feel comfortable and welcomed there. Engin’s guidance and knowledge of the menu continued through to dessert and we got the delicious signature chocolate cigar! I recommend Akira Back to anyone looking to have a unique, delicious dining experience

The duck was really good. I know you’re supposed to eat it with the bao, sauce, scallions and cucumber but eating the duck by itself shows how skilfully the duck was cooked. Service was also really good. I would highly recommend.

The food and service were outstanding. The two of us ordered the Muni Yuzu Truffle Triple (sashimi) and the Muni Sukiyaki (Japanese hot pot) to share. We had plenty of food. The sashimi with the yuzu “vinaigarette”was great. The sukiyaki broth was flavorful, the vegetables were fresh and plentiful, and the waygu beef was delicious. The servers were attentive throughout the meal, assisting with the cooking of the sukiyaki. The restaurant had a pleasing ambience.
