What a treat a Sunday lunch that I couldn’t improve on myself. Beef cooked to perfection was equaled by the most amazing vegetables and crispy roast potatoes. Lashing of extra gravy served separately as was the cauliflower cheese. Service was great and fantastic open club house Restraunt in the most stunning of locations!! It really was 5*****

We had a lovely birthday celebration meal at The Chequers 30.9.26. The food was delicious with some lovely specials in addition to the main menu. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really great-friendly and with great knowledge. Good value too-thank you for a very enjoyable evening. We hope to visit again soon!

Had a lovely birthday meal here with friends. The service was very attentive and positive, really lovely chap who welcomed us in and he and others kept checking up on us. The delivery of food was quite slow but once it came, it was beautiful and delicious and the dessert was outstanding (cinnamon/apple mille-feuille) both in appearance and taste, clearly the chef has a good patisserie eye/experience, we said it was the best pudding we'd had in a long time. I would highly recommend.
