Excellent as usual and we were able to sit outside for our afternoon tea making the most of the last summer sunshine! Great staff, service, impeccable food and stunning presentation.

We love this venue, the team are incredible. Friendly, warm and inviting. Everything is delivered to the highest standard. We sat outside, overlooking the river, an idyllic afternoon.

Ambiance was good on welcoming. I think I niece bit of classical music on very low would help with the first diners as just me and my partner was sat in the large very quiet room. The staff were extremely welcoming. Very respectful and knowledgeable. The young lady issuing the wine was extremely knowledgeable on what she was serving. The taster menu was exquisite. Presentation was spot on and again the staff knew exactly what they were serving you and the story behind the inspiration. Overall an absolutely fantastic evening highly recommended.

They just continue to deliver. Spectacular food - some of it reads a bit “fusion” but just trust them. It’s clever, beautifully prepared and presented and absolutely delicious. Cheese custard profiteroles? What? Well yeah. But my goodness they were good. The lavish grating of truffle didn’t hurt either. We had sirloin too - that’ll live long in the memo. Cooked to perfection, seasoned so subtly and wonderfully it needed nothing extra. Worth our total bill just for that. Scallops in dashi? Sensational. And the veg…could be centrepiece dishes in their own. The care and time to execute dishes like this is exceptional. I can take or leave carrots, but not these. These, were special. Service was mainly provided by Luke. Calm, quietly professional and attentive while somehow managing to only be where we needed him when we needed him. What an evening. I can’t believe we left it so long. This place does wonderful food at a very fair price. You’ll leave full, happy and relaxed and likely will have tried a combination you won’t have considered before…but will wish you had.
