The food is exceptional (though I miss the samosas on the menu!) and the beef Wellington, potato pave, scotch eggs, arancini and sautéed greens were all outstanding. The sticky toffee pudding is a must and never disappoints! A shout out to one of the most impressive, sweet, well informed, charming and subtly attentive servers Misaki for making it a special evening. She remembered me from previous visits, made us feel welcome, special and instantly put us in a better mood. I would honestly come back just to have see her. She is almost magical in her calm nature and ease of interaction, a standout in the city of Toronto 💗

Staff and Service were outstanding. For some reason Opentable had reservations available before the restaurant even opened. The waitstaff and kitchen did not hesitate to accommodate us.

The room is dimly lit with dark wood walls and bar that adds to the overall ambiance of the dining area. Scotland Yard's menu takes inspiration from all the best pub foods from all over the world. First up are the sharing plates, starters that are meant to be ordered for the whole table. These include mini hot dogs and several takes on sliders like the Quebec with cheese curds, bacon and gravy. We often dine at the Duke of York before attending concerts at the Koerner Hall. Staff are very friendly and hospitable ; they always do their best to accommodate our requests. That, plus the tasty food they have attracts us to this restaurant/alehouse. On this occasion, I had the chicken breast with Brie, on a baguette; very well prepared, and very tasty. My wife had her usual Cob salad, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The place gets packed because this is a gem in the neighbourhood.
