It is a neighborhood favorite go-to and if I didn't live in the neighborhood, it would still be a favorite go-to. It was a damp and cool evening so the French onion soup, mussels, and chicken were perfect comfort food options. Lovely wine list. I've never ordered anything that I did not enjoy. The bar and restaurant provide a lovely ambiance and the staff are wonderful. The hostess was warm and welcoming, as was our bartender, who was very adept at properly making cocktails. He made one of the best manhattans I have ever had. So much so that I ordered a second one. Our waiter was also friendly and helpful, and expertly took care of us. We enjoyed our meals prepared by the sous chef, which included escargot, lobster, chicken and a crab cake. Plus amazing french fries which were cooked to perfection.
