Best Seafood Restaurants in Erwin

We found this restaurant online while we were staying in Banner Elk, NC because we couldn't get into the steakhouses there and Americano had openings. This was a very pleasant surprise, the hostess was friendly and warm and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The music they played was very pleasing and relaxing. Our server was quick and very pleasant. We started with the shrimp cocktail and I had Jim's Filet while my friend had the Hawaiian Ribeye. We both had the brussel sprouts which are out of this world delicious. Everything was cooked well and our server Morgan was attentive and helpful.

First time at Jackson's Prime and honestly this was the greatest dining experience we have ever had. We ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer, they were made quickly and the sauce options were both fantastic. My husband got a ceasar salad next and thoroughly enjoyed it. For our main course my husband had the 22oz cowboy ribeye and I chose the Duroc Pork Chop. Both dishes were prepared to perfection. The steak and pork chop were both tender and juicy and packed with flavor. The truffle mashed potatoes were smooth and silky. Finally, we decided on dessert - 1 toffee cake and 1 Blueberry Lemon Cobbler cake. Nothing could have made this meal better. Alyssa was our server. She was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!

All of our steaks were, unsurprisingly, delicious. I really enjoyed the bourbon glaze and garlic mashed potatoes with mine. No real standouts as veg and steak were all amazing. If you have a chance, both the regular and chocolate cheesecakes were divine. Service was particularly good. We have lived here 3 years and never gone to Ruth Chris’ as there are so many independent foodie restaurants. But honestly, this was a wonderful meal with the best steak we’ve had since arriving in Asheville. Highly recommend.

Magnificent! We came for the sunset view — which might be the best in all of WNC — and enjoyed the entire dining experience. The food is high quality and prepared with a lot of love. The service was equal to fine dining but was also warm and welcoming which put everyone at ease to relax and enjoy the nature around us. This will always be our top pick for a special night out.
