Best Wine Bars in La Vergne

Iggy’s is, without question, the best restaurant in Nashville right now. My girlfriend and I celebrated here last night and the attention to detail was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were seated at the kitchen counter, which honestly made the experience even better. Watching the team execute at that level, with that much precision and calm, is a reminder of what true hospitality looks like. The handwritten card for our celebration was such a simple touch, but exactly the kind of detail that separates a great restaurant from a memorable one. Service was impeccable: knowledgeable, intuitive, warm, and present without ever feeling intrusive. And the food… orgasmic. Every dish felt intentional, from the ingredients and technique to the way it was plated and even the vessels it was served in. The ceramics, presentation, textures, sauces, pacing, nothing felt accidental. There is a level of thought here that you notice even more if you’ve spent time working in hospitality. What I loved most is that it never felt pretentious. It was elevated, creative, incredibly well executed, but still comfortable and genuinely fun. Nashville has a lot of great restaurants, but Iggy’s is operating on a different level. This is the kind of experience that reminds you why restaurants can be special in the first place. 10/10. Sit at the kitchen counter if you can.

Outstanding experience! We were visiting from Raleigh NC and the gentleman behind the bar was the picture of perfect hospitality. Very knowledgeable but also hands off in the best way. Additionally every bite we had was divine. The dry aged ribeye and beef jus was out of this world. We will definitely return!

Amazing service even had a handwritten happy birthday card on the table for my friend with a $25 gift card in it for the restaurant I could rave all night long about the food. It was amazing.

Food was excellent. Pimento Cheese, tuna tartar, prawns, octopus, green salad, scallops and wagyu steak all superbly prepared. Dessert wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.
