We sampled nearly the entire menu and loved all the dishes. Cocktails were very tasty and inventive. Seth was an excellent bartender and server. Music playing was a good volume and genre.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the cuisine, we will not be able to accommodate fish allergies or vegetarians.

What a perfect place to have a special birthday dinner. Everything felt intentional, fun, and delicious… from the welcome cocktail to the tiny bites before we even ordered. We felt so celebrated and the staff was wonderful. The squash was my surprise favorite of all. A unique, whimsical, high quality culinary experience.

What an excellent authentic French Bistro in Nashville!!! A by-the-glass wine list of 40-50 excellent choices, and a by-the-bottle list better than all the Michelin Star restaurants in Nashville!!!

Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of Nashville's Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. In November 2025, Bastion was awarded a MICHELIN Star.

Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations. Friendly service guides you through the culinary experience, which also features wine pairings, creative cocktails, and a curated vinyl soundtrack. Come early or stay late in the hidden Little Bar, which is a private offering for guests of the restaurant.

I have been a longtime fan of Patterson House. This was my first time visiting the new location. I was a little worried when I entered the lobby of a building clearly still under construction however upon arriving to the 5th floor it felt like the old Patterson House I knew and loved. There is more seating now and I loved that they opened the curtains at sunset! Wonderful service, drinks and food!
