Welcome to The Tarratine. We focus on providing an elegant yet approachable experience for our community. Created with skill and passion, the menu features an exciting array of seafood, streak, and signature items from our Executive Chef and his culinary team. This is within our historic gentlemen's social club, built-in 1907. Our spacious venue allows for individual experiences in various spaces, including our rooftop terrace. The Tarratine provides a variety of spirits, cocktails, local brews on tap, and an approachable wine list. Parties of 12 - 18 guests will be offered a reduced restaurant menu.Parties with 19+ guests, please call us at 207-992-4090, and someone will love to talk to you about your special night.We allow you to bring in a cake from state-licensed bakeries; a $5 per person cutting fee will be added to the final bill.Due to the historic nature of the building, our upper levels are not handicap accessible.

Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at The Tarratine. A 19th Century Gentlemen's Club converted to a residence, then to a unique restaurant. Bangor was our last stop on a ten-day tour from Boston north. This was our best meal of the trip. Elegant atmosphere, top chef cuisine and great service. Don't miss it.

    This was an exceptional meal from beginning to end! If you want Spectacular .. then this is the place to go! Billy knows everything about wine and our server Manny was amazing! Justin at the bar makes your everyday cocktails seem special, but when you let him create, he is unbeatable! We had such an amazing experience, we went back the next night!
